Julia B. Chan is the Digital Managing Editor of News at KQED where she leads editorial content strategy, story production, and audience engagement across platforms. Julia serves on AAJA's national board and founded Journalists of Color, a global community of digitally savvy journalists. Previously, she worked at Mother Jones, Reveal, The Center for Investigative Reporting, and the San Francisco Examiner.
