Sherry Chisenhall is executive editor of The Charlotte Observer in North Carolina. Previously she was managing editor then executive editor of The Wichita Eagle in Kansas. This is her second turn at The Observer, where she held several editing and reporting positions over 14 years. She started her journalism career on the copy desk of the Sun Herald in Biloxi, MS.
