Miguel Dobrich

Miguel Dobrich Camps is a journalist, an educator and a digital entrepreneur based in Montevideo, Uruguay. Miguel is the CEO of Dobcast, a network of podcasts and a premium content YouTube channel, in Spanish. At Dobcast he hosts "Montevideo No", a weekly interview podcast show with amazing guests from the Spanish and Portuguese speaking world. He is the founder of Amenaza Roboto, a platform that provides Latin American and global tech news, podcasts and videos for techies and business people that need to upgrade from analog to digital, in Spanish. He launched Amenaza Roboto last spring in New York. Miguel also works as a columnist for Otro Elefante. He has taught classes at UCU (Universidad Católica del Uruguay), UDELAR (Universidad de la República) and CLAEH (Centro Latinoamericano de Estudios Humanos). Since 2014 he is the professor of Contemporary Cinema in the Audiovisual Media Degree at IENBA-UDELAR. Miguel Dobrich is a Tow-Knight Center alum (City University of New York, 2018). He is the author of La Intemperie (Estuario, 2009) and the co-curator and host of Pecha Kucha Night Montevideo.
