Since 1991, the Gannett Foundation, a corporate foundation sponsored by Gannett, has supported communities through grant making and volunteer initiatives of more than $200 million. Today, the Foundation has three areas of focus; community, industry and employees. The Foundation supports industry with a focus on professional development and the expansion of diversity in the field of journalism.
