Viktorya Vilk is manager of special projects at PEN America, where she leads initiatives on a range of free expression issues, including developing tools and strategies to empower writers and journalists to defend against online harassment and conducting research and raising awareness about the local news crisis. She has over a decade of experience working in nonprofits to expand access to the arts and to defend freedom of expression. She graduated summa cum laude with a BA from Boston University and pursued her graduate degrees on a Marshall Scholarship at the University of London.
