In her 15-year career, award-winning editor Natasha Madov personally felt the journalism industry's transition from print to digital. She followed the usual print path from beat reporter to editor and then to editor-in-chief but fell in love with digital news when she launched a new Science and Environment vertical in one of the biggest news portals in her native Brazil.
In 2014, she moved to New York for a fellowship at the Tow-Knight Center for Entrepreneurial Journalism at the City University of New York. There, she founded Ada, a tech news platform for Brazilian women. She launched in 2016 a global edition of Medscape, a medical news website from WebMD. She is currently an associate editor at financial news service Brightwire.
A daughter of Bulgarian immigrants, Natasha grew up in São Paulo. She now lives in Brooklyn.
