Meghann Farnsworth is the director of social media at WIRED. Previously she was the engagement editor at Recode, where she worked on platform and social strategy. Before that she was the managing director of operations, distribution, and engagement at The Center for Investigative Reporting/Reveal. She’s also worked at the PBS NewsHour. She received her master’s degree from UC Berkeley and undergraduate degree at the University of Oregon. She is based out of the San Francisco office but calls Oakland home.
