Lakshmi Sarah is an educator, author and journalist with a focus on new media innovation and creative storytelling. She's a co-founder of Tiny World Productions and has worked with newspapers, radio and magazines from Ahmedabad, India to Los Angeles, California. She has developed curriculum for journalists in video and immersive storytelling skills in the U.S., India and around the world. Teaching at the UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism summer minor and Berkeley’s Advanced Media Institute, created curriculum for multimedia classes and VR workshops. Her work has appeared in Global Voices, AJ+, KQED, Fusion Media Group, Die Zeit Online and The New York Times. Her teaching and reporting have brought her to Hamburg, Germany as a Fulbright Fellow and Berlin as an Arthur F. Burns Fellow with Die Zeit Online. She is a graduate of Pitzer College and the UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism and divides her time between Berkeley, Berlin and southern India.
