Chaseedaw Giles is the Social Media Manager for Kaiser Health News. She is a graduate of Boston College with a major in Communications and a minor in French. She received her Social Media Management certification from the Georgetown School of Continuing Studies. Before working for KHN she managed social and email marketing for the American Society for Microbiology (ASM). At ASM she created the viral "Agar Art" contest for social media, which the society now holds yearly. She earned her first byline last year with a story on social media managers, managing their mental health while working in a newsroom.
