Anita Li is a media consultant and the former Director of Communities for The Discourse, a digital company that produces community-powered journalism informed and funded by the public. She’s also Editor-in-Chief of The Other Wave, a website dedicated to covering media from a multicultural perspective. Prior to that, Anita served as Senior Editor at Fusion and as News Director at Complex. She’s also held reporting and editing positions at media outlets across North America, including Mashable, The Toronto Star, The Globe and Mail, CBC and CTV. Anita frequently comments publicly about media business models, ethics, diversity and innovation at conferences, in op-eds, as well as on radio and TV.
