Fernando Diaz\u200b is the editor and publisher of The Chicago Reporter, a nonprofit investigative news organization focused on issues of race, poverty and income inequality. Before joining the Reporter in November 2018, Diaz was the managing editor of digital at The San Francisco Chronicle. A 2004 graduate of Columbia College Chicago \u2013 and former Reporter intern \u2013 Diaz has worked at ChicagoNow, Hoy and\u200b the Daily Herald.
