Alison Schary is an attorney in the Washington, DC office of Davis Wright Tremaine LLP and serves as outside general counsel for ONA. Alison represents and counsels clients on a wide range of issues in media and intellectual property law, including defamation, privacy, copyright, newsgathering, and First Amendment matters. Alison also advises clients on pre-publication and pre-broadcast legal issues and regularly represents coalitions of media amici in cases affecting First Amendment matters in the federal appellate courts and the U.S. Supreme Court.
