Since these goals cross several of our conference tracks and are also of interest to non-educator attendees, we\u2019ve worked with our educator community and program team to curate a pathway or mini-track of <a href=\"https:\/\/ona19.journalists.org\/track\/educators\/\">suggested sessions for educators<\/a> that will best help them meet these goals.<\/p>\n<p>All sessions highlighted are open to all attendees with full conference badges, regardless of whether or not they are educators \u2014 though some sessions, noted on <a href=\"https:\/\/ona19.journalists.org\/sessions\/https:\/\/ona19.journalists.org\/sessions\/\">the schedule<\/a>, require an RSVP.<\/p>\n<p>Here are a few examples of sessions you\u2019ll find highlighted:<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/ona19.journalists.org\/sessions\/23518047\/\">How to Innovate As a Journalism Educator<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Learn fresh ways to collaborate, experiment and create content from educators who have gotten buy-in from universities and local communities on ambitious reporting projects. This session inspire new ideas about collaborating with local media organizations and features winners of ONA\u2019s Challenge Fund for Innovation in Journalism Education.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/ona19.journalists.org\/sessions\/23518454\/\">Texting To Your Audience<\/a><\/strong>,<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/ona19.journalists.org\/sessions\/23627455\/\">Deconstructing VR\/AR: Story Design for Effective User Immersion<\/a><\/strong>,<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/ona19.journalists.org\/sessions\/23627453\/\">Helping Corrections Catch Up To Mistakes In a Social Media World<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>These training sessions are among those designed as entry points to anyone who wants an introduction to emerging tools and trends.
