Each year more than 150 volunteers contribute specialized and general support to help ONA pull off one of the industry\u2019s premier events. We\u2019re producing a series to celebrate<\/a> some of our amazing conference volunteers, who bring the ONA spirit to life in a number of crucial roles. Say hello when you see them at the conference!<\/i><\/p>\n

The ONA19 Social Team<\/a> provides live coverage of conference sessions and curates highlights that contribute to ONA\u2019s evergreen resources. Their coverage allows both attendees on site and people following remotely to engage with individual sessions as they unfold in real time. The team also produces a daily conference newsletter that shares what they are learning at the conference, attendee stories captured by the audio and video teams, student newsroom coverage and previews of not-to-miss sessions.<\/p>\n

Gracie is the audience engagement editor for CityLab, The Atlantic\u2019s sister site focused on the future of cities. She grew up in the Pacific Northwest and previously worked in public radio, as a digital producer for NPR\u2019s Here & Now and The Diane Rehm Show. She\u2019s also on the steering committee for Gather, a community of practice for engaged journalists. This will be her fourth ONA conference and her third time on the social team, this year as a co-chair.<\/p>\n

\"Ron-Nurwisah\"Ron Nurwisah<\/b> | @boyreporter<\/a><\/p>\n

Ron is a senior audience development editor at HuffPost. He’s worked for more than 10 years in various aspects of digital media at the National Post and at HuffPost Canada. You might spot him saying hi to various dogs in New York or on the hunt for your favorite craft beer spot.<\/p>\n\t\n\t
